Ingvar was entitled as the main artist at Winter Light Festival in Reykjavik where he visually recreated eruption on front of the church Hallgrímskirkja, the city’s bestknown landmarks and visible throughout the city. The church is 73 metres high and among the talles structures in Iceland. It also was designed to resemble the basalt lava flows of Iceland’s landscape and therefore Ingvar wanted to perform his visual recreation of eruption there. This spectacular art performance “Creating Land” is visually bound together with instruments and real sounds from nature of the Iceland.
